On Saturday, 6th December 2025, at 7:00 am, the 69th Mahaparinirvana Diwas (Death Anniversary) of Bharat Ratna Dr. B. R. Ambedkar was solemnly observed at the Statue of Dr. Ambedkar in Jaiprakash Udyan.
Floral tributes were respectfully offered by Chief Monk Bhikkhu Chalinda and the Resident Monks of the Mahabodhi Temple, along with Dr. Mahashweta Maharathi, Secretary, Dr. Arvind Singh, and Mr. Kiran Lama, Members of BTMC.
On this occasion, all present paid homage and shed light on the inspiring life, vision and monumental contributions of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. They recalled his tireless struggle for social justice, equality, and human dignity, and highlighted his pioneering role in the revival and propagation of Buddhism, which continues to inspire millions in India and beyond.
