BTMC Makes Comprehensive Arrangements for Annual Pindadana in Bodhgaya

A large number of pilgrims are arriving in Bodhgaya to perform the annual Pindadana. The Bodhgaya Temple Management Committee (BTMC) has made comprehensive arrangements for the smooth conduct of all religious activities related to Pindadana within the precincts of the Mahabodhi Temple.

The designated area for Pindadana, on the southern side of the Temple near the Muchalinda Tank, is being regularly cleaned and maintained. To ensure uninterrupted facilitation, forty additional labourers have been engaged by BTMC during the period of Pitripaksha. This enables space to be promptly readied for each new batch of pilgrims.

BTMC staff, labourers, and security personnel are diligently supervising the arrangements and maintaining orderly queues of devotees. A free charitable clinic, along with a “May I Help You” counter, has been established with doctors available on 24-hour duty to look after the health and medical needs of pilgrims. Every year, BTMC also distributes free medicines to the visiting devotees.

It is the constant endeavour of BTMC to ensure that all pilgrims arriving from far and wide for the sacred Pindadana are facilitated in the best possible manner.
