A meeting of the Bodhgaya Temple Management Committee (BTMC) was held on Wednesday, 24th September 2025, at 4:00 p.m. in the premises of the new BTMC Office Building, under the chairmanship of Mr. Shashank Shubankar, Chairman, BTMC-cum-DM, Gaya.
The agenda of the meeting included:
Planning and maintenance of regular works related to the Mahabodhi Temple.
Staff welfare measures.
Review of the Statement of Accounts, both local and foreign receipts.
Finalization of the dates which was fixed for 22, 23 & 24 January, 2026 for Bodh Mahotsav 2025, including the selection of foreign artistes for participation in the festival.
Inviting Tenders for printing of the Annual Wall Calendar of the Mahabodhi Temple for the year 2026.
Member-Secretary, Dr. Mahashweta Maharathi alongwith the Committee Members Rev. G. Okonogi, Ven. Dhammadhiroo, Dr. Arvind Kumar Singh and Mr. Kiran Lama attended the Meeting.
