On the auspicious occasion of Pavarana Day, which marks the conclusion of the three-month Buddhist Rainy Retreat (Vassa) in the Theravada tradition, the International Holy Maha Sangha Civara (Robe) Dana Ceremony was held under the Sacred Bodhi Tree at the Mahabodhi Mahavihara, Bodhgaya, on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.

The sacred ceremony was graced by the presence of 1,250 venerable monks and nuns from various countries who gathered to offer prayers for world peace, harmony, good health, and the spiritual well-being of all sentient beings. The event symbolized unity and devotion within the global Buddhist community.

On behalf of the Bodhgaya Temple Management Committee, sincere appreciation is extended to all venerable monks, nuns, devotees, and sponsors for their deep faith and meritorious contributions. Such international offerings continue to uphold the Dhamma spirit and strengthen the bond of friendship and spiritual harmony among Buddhist nations.
